Many California gold rush towns have disappeared into the pages of history, yet Nevada City has rebounded time and again to emerge as a unique blend of yesterday and today. Nevada City is known for its architecture, its bohemian, inclusive, eclectic-yet-down-home vibe, its music and art, its delicious restaurants, lively bars, film festivals and farmer’s markets – all nestled among the foothill pine, cedar and oak, the rivers, lakes, and nearby mountains. Built in 1856 in what was to become the most sophisticated of the gold rush mining camps, the National Exchange Hotel is a treasured piece of Nevada City history. This grand old dame is full of rich colors and patterns, opulent furnishings and lovingly restored original features. Whispers of stories past are to be discovered around every turn. The National Exchange Hotel invites you to spend unforgettable days and nights with her. An indulgence of unplugged luxury awaits. The spirit of this unique building shines through in each of it's 38 rooms. Each chamber like no other, yet all with a fresh take on Victorian elegance and your comfort in mind. Featuring a garden, terrace, a restaurant, and bar, the historic hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. The property provides room service and a concierge service for guests. Guests at the hotel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Nevada City, such as dining at local restaurants, shopping, and exploring the area's history.

Honeymoon Fund

Help Us Make the Dream a Reality..After the wedding, we're dreaming of trading our wedding shoes for walking shoes and setting off on a long-awaited adventure through Europe and Italy..Rather than a traditional registry, we've created a Honeymoon Fund to help make this lifelong dream a reality. If you'd like to contribute, simply scan the QR code below and help us create the unforgettable memories we'll carry with us long after the wedding day—from wandering historic streets and discovering hidden gems to sharing incredible meals, raising a glass of wine, and taking in the beauty of Italy together..And if you've already had the pleasure of exploring Italy or Europe, we'd love to hear from you! Share your favorite places, must-see spots, hidden gems, restaurants, travel tips, or the one experience you think we absolutely shouldn't miss..Your generosity will help turn a dream trip into a once-in-a-lifetime adventure—and we'll be thinking of you as we explore, eat, wander, and make memories along the way..Thank you for being part of our journey, both on our wedding day and wherever life takes us next.
